Mallory Collins, O.D.
Owner, Riverview Eyecare
Mallory Collins is the proud owner of Riverview Eyecare, which she opened in February 2024 to serve the Clarksdale community and surrounding areas with high-quality eye care. Born and raised in Clarksdale, Mallory has always felt a deep connection to her hometown and is grateful to give back through her profession.
A 2011 valedictorian graduate of Lee Academy, Mallory went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2014. She then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she again graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019. After working in other practices, she returned home and fulfilled her dream of opening Riverview Eyecare to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to her community.

Mallory’s passion for optometry began during her college years while shadowing healthcare providers. She quickly discovered that eye care combined her love of medicine, her desire to help others, and her ability to form meaningful relationships with patients. Over her six years as an optometrist, she has found fulfillment in moments both big and small—from witnessing a child’s joy when seeing clearly for the first time to helping patients regain independence or even saving lives through early diagnoses.
Professionally, Mallory is dedicated not only to her patients but also to the advancement of optometry. She serves as Chair of the Mississippi Optometric Association’s Grassroots Committee and has been actively involved since her student years. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and was selected for the AOA Leadership Institute 1.0 and 2.0 programs in 2025. Her leadership and dedication have been widely recognized: she was named the Mississippi Optometric Association’s Helen St. Clair Young Optometrist of the Year in 2022 (after being a finalist in 2021) and was voted “Woman of the Year” and “Eye Doctor of the Year” by the Clarksdale Press Register in 2024.
Outside of her practice, Mallory lives in Clarksdale with her husband, Brennan, and their beloved pets—four dogs and three cats. A passionate animal rescuer, she finds joy in giving pets a loving home. She also loves to travel, having visited nearly every U.S. state and now setting her sights on every continent. Whether exploring new restaurants or baking at home, she enjoys sharing her culinary creations with her team at Riverview Eyecare. Mallory is also active in community service through the Rotary Club, Lions Club, and Junior Auxiliary, where she works to uplift and support those in need.
Mallory’s life and career are grounded in her love for Clarksdale, her commitment to her patients, and her drive to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Kristen Brooks
Practice Manager
As Practice Manager at Riverview Eyecare, Kristen brings strong leadership, compassion, and years of hands-on experience to her role. She oversees every aspect of the clinic’s daily operations, including patient care, scheduling, finances, insurance coordination, equipment maintenance, and staff management- ensuring that each patient receives attentive, individualized service from start to finish.

Kristen’s journey in eyecare began early on in a family-owned eye care practice, where she started in entry-level roles and worked her way up, gaining experience in nearly every part of the business. That foundation taught her the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine care for patients, which are all values that continue to guide her today.
A proud native of the Mississippi Delta, Kristen grew up in Rena Lara, near the Mississippi River and Desoto Lake. Her family’s local business instilled in her a strong work ethic and a lifelong connection to her community. Surrounded by the natural beauty and traditions of the Delta, she takes great pride in serving the place she’s always called home.
Kristen holds a business degree that strengthens her role as a leader in the eyecare field. She’s passionate about learning, improving systems, and helping both patients and team members thrive. Known for her warm personality and unmistakable laugh, Kristen brings positivity and heart to everything she does, making Riverview Eyecare a place where patients feel cared for and valued every step of the way.
Paige Sewell
ABOC, Lab Manager
As a Certified Optician at Riverview Eyecare, Paige brings over a decade of experience, expertise, and genuine care to every patient she helps. She began her career in eyecare in 2010 and earned her American Board of Opticianry Certification in 2015. Known for her attention to detail and warm, personable approach, Paige takes pride in helping people find the perfect pair of glasses—ones that help them see clearly, feel confident, and express their personal style.

A proud Clarksdale native, Paige’s roots run deep in the Mississippi Delta. She values family, friendships, and her lifelong love for animals, all of which shape her caring and grounded nature. Meeting Dr. Collins was a defining moment in her professional journey. Through Dr. Collins’ mentorship, Paige gained a deeper understanding of the impact of her work—how a simple pair of glasses can truly change a person’s day, confidence, and quality of life.
